A chapter-by-chapter review on my blog.This whole book is a waste of time and trees. Stuff happens, there is absolutely no plot advancement at all throughout the entire thing. The characters do not change or grow, we learn no new information about the world (unless for some reason you forgot what we learned in the first book; they present some stuff as if it's a revelation), and any potential plot with the rebellion/country falling apart/war gets stalled. The only thing that changes in this book is the number of girls in the Selection, falling from six to four, and that is the ONLY thing that changes.Even the ending, with America's "no boys, I want to focus on me now, WHOOPS, JUST KIDDING" speech was a copy of the first book.
