This wasn't a book about a girl becoming an inspiring figure for her people and fighting against an oppressive regime. This was a story about a girl getting yanked here and there, taking no initiative over her own life, and letting other people dress her up in pretty clothes and then tell her where to go.Also, wars are impressive. (Morally right or wrong, they still make for epic stories.) The media people who get down and dirty in wars to document it are in impressive. However, people who stay safe in the rear, fly in to battlegrounds that are no longer hot for some staged bullshit, and then hop out again? Make me want to punch them. Not the best way to tell your story, Collins.
